Our Story
For generations, Friendship Missionary Baptist Church has stood on Bennington Street as a beacon of hope for Houston's Northeast community. What began as a small gathering of believers has grown into a vibrant church family - united around the Word of God and the love of Christ.
We are an "always open" church, ready to pray, to serve, and to welcome you home.
What We Believe
The gospel of Jesus Christ.
We believe in the inspired Word of God, the deity and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the call of the Great Commission. We are missionary in heart sent to share the good news in our neighborhood, our city, and the nations.
Scripture
The Bible is our final authority for faith and practice.
Salvation
By grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Service
Faith without works is dead we love by doing.
